ABOUT
Marianne Noer (1992) is a Danish weaving artist and textile designer working with intangible cultural heritage in relation to material and rural craft.

Noer’s work is often based on a site-specific narrative, reflecting on the drastic changes in weather conditions, the loss of species and traditional crafts. Inspired by the windswept west coast to the flat heathland, she predominantly works in the landscape of western Jutland.

Driven by a curiosity towards investigating boundaries between past, present and future of “making/manufacturing” objects on the loom.

(DK)
